The function of the office of the master commissioner is to assist the Fayette Circuit Court in the discharge of its duties and the enforcement of its judgments, as for example, conducting sales of property to satisfy liens, mortgages, or claims of ownership.  This site is dedicated to those type proceedings.

The sales are held at the hour of 12:00 noon, unless otherwise designated, at the Robert F. Stephens Fayette Circuit Courthouse at 120 North Limestone, Lexington, Kentucky 40507, or, at the Master Commissioner’s discretion, via an online auction, at a time and auction website to be advertised by or at the direction of the Master Commissioner.

A list of upcoming sales and the terms and conditions of sale is located under that tab.  Another link to this site past sales, lists property sold for the past twelve months, the purchaser thereof, the appraisal, and the amount of the successful bid.

Prospective purchasers should read the information under the tab bidder info/faq regarding the terms of sale and for other information regarding commissioner sales and the requirements that a bidder must meet.
